About Uncle Joe’s

The Ghost of Uncle Joes is a Fundraiser for and at The Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery (The) Rock-it Docket & The Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery host this annual event on the cemetery grounds every year with local musicians dressing up and performing songs of famous bands. After the cemetery show, the night’s theme continues with four after parties. There will be delicious food, refreshing beer, prize giveaways for best costumes and more!!

Be sure to bring your Halloween Costume A-game to The Ghost of Uncle Joe’s this year and you may just win one of our many prizes donated by our awesome sponsors.

TRANSPORTATION

Street parking is very limited and we STRONGLY suggest public transportation, a ride share service or witch hiking to the event. All venues are accessible from the Jersey City Grove St. Path Station.

BIKES can be left outside with BIKE JC who will be providing a FREE bike valet service for the event.

The Historic JC & Harsimus Cemetery grounds and walkways are uneven; use caution with walking around the grounds. Our Gravestones are historic and fragile.It is an outdoor environment that contains natural and man-made hazards, including standing water, fallen trees, limbs, and plant materials; steep, slippery, rough and uneven terrain; animal and reptile burrows, insects, and reptiles, poisonous plants; maintenance and heavy equipment; and other apparent and unapparent hazards. 

WHAT IS ALLOWED

  • NO PETS or other live animals allowed
  • NO GLASS containers
  • NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL
  • BIKES can be left outside with our FREE BikeJC Valet
  • No children under 18 allowed in without an adult
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
  • DO NOT LEAN UP, SIT ON, OR PLAY on or around the Gravestones.
